A naturalistic dragonfly with layered three dimensional design, appears to land upon one’s shoulder, in this vintage sterling silver brooch by Fer’s Taxco Plateria, circa 1980s.

The elegant insect consists of hand wrought sterling silver, featuring both smooth and hammered textured wings measuring approximately 3 inches across.

It also measures about 2&3/8 inches from eyes to tail, weighs 17.6 grams, and is signed “Fer’s”, MM-34, and 925.
