An elegant hand with jeweled wrist, sparkling ring, and red painted nails makes up this vintage unmarked brooch, attributed to Butler & Wilson circa 1980s, and appearing in the book “Rough Diamonds” by Vivienne Becker. 

The vintage novelty brooch is based on Coro’s famous “Friendship” hand brooch of 1944, but is larger in size at 3&1/2 inches – and consists of a polished goldplated hand with slender fingers, manicured nails, a faux diamond ring of Swarovski crystals, and bracelet prong set with an emerald cut red crystal stone along with clear faceted crystal rhinestones. 

It is unmarked and measures approximately 1&3/8 inches wide at its widest point by 3&1/2 inches in length, and weighs 26.2 grams.
